Our projects
Our specialisation is working on smaller project sites like houses, cafes, small farms and acreage and smaller public spaces like the local sports reserve in Manyana. We like to work within this specialised area because we feel the impact of introducing permaculture and more closed-loop systems to our clients is spread more widely this way.
Over the years we've worked on sites on the south coast of NSW, in Sydney and the Blue Mountains. We have upcoming projects in northern Tasmania, Melbourne and regularly visit properties and projects all over Australia. We work on homes, shops, cafes, small farms, big farms, public spaces and buildings. |
Restoration of neglected systemsWe've met lots of people who avoid clearing out a garden space because they simply don't have the energy or anywhere to put all of the 'green waste'. Using tried and tested methods of dealing with bulk green waste without taking it off site, such as sheet mulching and covering with biodegradable materials, we can restore a garden space. These methods reduce the cost of garden refurbs, keen nutrient and water on site and give our clients back the green spaces they love.

Small production zones for renters.Often the biggest blockage for people who don't own the home they live in is permission to use the garden for food production. Stigmatised understanding of vegetable gardens as heavy duty, permanent structures often stops renters from subsidising financial output by growing food at home. We have helped people in rented homes create easily removable, productive systems for next to nothing using recycled materials.

Designing optimised spacesWe've worked with a number of clients who have a good grasp on the principles of permaculture and creating functional and productive spaces. Often the difficulty lies in making decisions without emotional attachment. This is where we come in.
